Some perspective

The other night I lay out under the stars and just looked up. We often don't look at the sky. It seems to me, from my limited knowledge of history that many people through the ages studied the stars, some for science, some for other reasons, but as I lay there, I realized that I'm a relatively small part of the world. As I lay in my own backyard surrounded by kid's toys and bikes I also realized I'm the world to some. I need to lay under the stars more often... get a perspective. Just my thoughts....
